Tell us what you think about Subiaco Library
Subiaco Library is taking part in a biannual national public libraries survey on the role and impact of libraries in the community. Share your thoughts via this short survey, facilitated by Culture Counts. The survey should take around three minutes to complete and closes on Friday 1 December 2023.
We are in planning mode for 2024, preparing new initiatives for when the doors reopen after the external refurbishment is complete. The results of this survey will help us ensure our programs meet your needs so be sure to have your say.
Results - March 2024
There was a great response to the survey with fantastic feedback received about library services, space itself, including the layout of the collection and seating and study spaces, as well as promotional preferences and suggestions of new books.
Eighty-five per cent of respondents had accessed the library or library services within the previous month.
Thirty-six per cent felt they learned something new about reading or literacy thanks to the library.
Twenty per cent felt they had added to their digital skillset thanks to library services.
Data from the survey is being taken onboard by the library team while planning for the reopening of the Subiaco (E.H. Parker) Library within the next few months, and for programming future events and workshops.
