The Forrest Walk upgrade is now complete, and the City would like to know your thoughts.

Forrest Walk is a pedestrian walkway, running between Rokeby Road and Rowland Street in Subiaco.

Subiaco is changing and this provides an opportunity to build on its existing charm as a favourite place to live, work, play and visit. A community need for additional spaces for people to sit, connect, and linger in the town centre was identified, and an upgrade to Forrest Walk had the potential to meet these needs.

The Forrest Walk upgrade aimed to enhance the pedestrian space with:

  • Enhanced public seating and alfresco dining opportunities,
  • Renewed paving, pathways, and drainage,
  • Expanded garden bed areas and underplanting
  • New lighting and electrical treatments,
  • Opportunities for events and community activities, and
  • New integrated artwork.
