Consultation has concluded. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.

The City commenced the development of a new draft Bike Plan in November 2019.

After an extensive period of investigation, community consultation and review the Draft Bike Plan 2021 - 2025 was made available for public comment. Consultation closed at 4pm on Tuesday 22 December 2020. Thank you to all those who provided feedback

The Draft Bike Plan 2021 - 2025 provides a strategic direction for priority projects over the next five years, to better align the City with State-level cycling strategies and funding programs. The plan does not intend to define specific treatments for each project, as implementing these projects will need further community consultation and detailed design processes. The plan identifies and prioritises the key infrastructure projects for the City, along with other long-term projects to investigate.

How can I be involved?

Consultation closed at 4pm on Tuesday 22 December 2020. Thank you to all those who provided feedback.

The City will use your feedback to finalise the plan’s aims and priorities before it is presented to Council for endorsement in early 2021.

Update

The Bike Plan 2021-25 was endorsed by Council at the meeting on Tuesday 23 February 2021.

Thank you to all community members who contributed significantly to the development of the plan.

The City of Subiaco is passionate about encouraging and increasing cycling in our community for transport and recreation.

To do this we need your input, please share your thoughts and experiences by dropping a pin in the map and let us know your comments. Note: if you are dropping more than one pin, you only need to complete the full survey once.

Some ideas to consider:

  • Is there a new bike path section needed?
  • Is there an maintenance or kerb issue?
  • Does an intersection need improving?
  • Are there safety issues, e.g. do cars overtake too closely in a certain location?

Check back throughout the project as more pins are dropped you can read comments from other participants.
