Proposal to amend the level of significance of 260-262 Churchill Avenue, Subiaco on the Local Heritage Survey

The City of Subiaco (the City) is inviting public comment on the proposal to amend the level of significance of 260-262 Churchill Avenue, Subiaco on the Local Heritage Survey from General (Level 2) to Some Significance (Level 3).

No. 260-262 Churchill Avenue, Subiaco was included on the Local Heritage Survey (LHS) in 2003 as a place of General (Level 2) significance. A recent comprehensive heritage assessment has concluded that the place is of Some Significance (Level 3).

The LHS is an information resource that identifies places in the local district that are, or may become, of cultural heritage significance. Inclusion on the LHS has no implications for development and places can continue to be developed in accordance with the local planning framework.
