The Subi East project is the redevelopment of the area that includes Subiaco Oval, Kitchener Park, Mueller Park, the former Princess Margaret Hospital site and West Leederville train station. DevelopmentWA is the State Government agency leading the project.
Complete:
- Major above-ground demolition works at Subiaco Oval
- Grandstands, light towers and associated buildings all removed.
- The playing surface restored to its traditional AFL dimensions.
- Landscaping installed around the site, including native vegetation on the oval surrounds and paths to facilitate community access to the oval.
- Parkour course and undercover playground installed.
- Toilets and changerooms installed.
